Product management lies at the intersection of technology, design, and the business. We are looking for an experienced Software Product Development Manager to be responsible for working with our software development team and supporting various development duties. Your responsibilities will include bringing the company’s vision to life via our software products, generating and maintaining our product development roadmaps for specific projects (including design, coding, documentation, QA, and release), and acting as a liaison between the executive team and our software development team.

You will regularly interface with the software development team to creatively remove potential obstacles from the development process, analyze features, review internal/external feedback for continual improvement of the products and associated UI/UX, and contribute to the design and implementation of software.

To be successful in this role, you must be creative, innovative, and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment. You must possess excellent communication skills, extensive experience in software development, and knowledge of code review/documentation processes. You must also manage deadlines, have strong analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and be ready to own results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in computer science or related field
  • 5-10 years of hands-on development and product management experience
  • Experience in building desktop and mobile web applications
  • A deep understanding of social platforms and how users interact with them
  • Experience in building and styling front-end user interfaces
  • Experience working with:
  • Scrum / Project management tools
  • HTML / CSS / WEB 2.0 / WEB 3.0
  • JavaScript / React.js
  • Ruby / Ruby on Rails
  • SEO / Growth



What you will be doing:

  • Work as a team player and collaborate within the product team (both design and software engineers) to balance the act of being the voice of the product and ensuring Inside’s needs are met
  • Identify opportunities through user research and market research and contribute to solution ideation and delivery
  • Collaborate with the product team and stakeholders to identify the priority problems to solve and define a product roadmap in an outcome-oriented format
  • Define key success metrics for the outcomes and be able to set up tracking and monitoring to collect data to inform your product decisions
  • Define and refine backlog priorities, going from the outcome roadmap
  • Deliver training, product presentations, workshops
  • Ongoing collaboration with stakeholders
